WAIKATO FOOTBALL.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

HAMILTON, Saturday.

The Waikato Union matches were continued here to-day. Oliaupo met Waingaro and defeated that team by 6 points to 3. Carlston and Marshall scored for the'winners. The play was of a most uninteresting character.

No. 2 ground was pccupied by teams representing Morrinsville and Hamilton 11. The Morrinsville team were a ♦fine-looking1 set, but knew little or nothing of the game and were defeated by their much lighter opponents, the scores being 10 points to 3. Tries were scored by Johnson and Pike for Hamilton, Evans converting both. Clarke scored for the visitors.
