The Secretary of the Auckland Rugby Union has written to tie Poverty Bay Union, asking if that jjodv can send a team to Auckland for ■the'23rd inst. If: a reply in the affirmative is received, arrangements- will probably be made for a match between Auckland and the Thames at Potter's on the 16th' nex*- Saturday week.
