THE SHOAL BAY 11IFLE KANGE<
The Works and Tariff Committee ofl the Auckland Harbour Board has decided to recommend the Board td grant th c request of the Devonport Coastguard Artillery Volunteer Corps for permission to use a portion of Shoal Bay, North Shore, as a rifle range, subject to the following conditions:—(l) The occupancy of the site to be terminated by the Board at any. time, at three months' notice';:' (2) the precautions prescribed by the Government regulations to ba observed, when the range is bein* used; (3) the Foreman'of ""Works to na satisfied as to the direction of tha range being away from all habitations and navigable waters; (4) that a' bank 12ft high be constructed in rear, of the targets at the remotest range.
