THE GOTHIC.
The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Comrpany's steamer Gothic arrived at Wei3mgton yesterday afternoon from London Capetown, and Hobart. She had moderate winds and fine weather throughout. She left .London on March vj Ten*>rif£e on the 24th, Capetown on Anril 8 and Hobart on the 27th. She brings 3S ealoon and 79 steerage passengers Dr Gabites, of Timaru, is surgeon, and Mr JHall, late second officer of the Delnhic is second officer, Mr Gunn having resmained behind. While in London the Gothic was fitted with rolling chocks jvvhich proved a great success during the •voyage just completed.
