THE TICK PEST.

WELLINGTON, this day.
The Agricultural Department does not anticipate any probability of tick being introduced from Queensland, . precautions having been taken by the Government of that colony. The only clanger is that it may be introduced in bone manure. The question of interdicting the introduction of manures and hides from Queensland will be decided by Cabinet this week.
