The ship Saranac, Avhich has been capitured by Spaniards off the Philippines, left NeAvcastle with a cargo of Wallsend coal, consigned to an American firm at Ho 110, under the command of Captin Bataby, who is part owner.

A Ne.AV Zealandei- named Molineux is-one of the creAv of the Saranac, captured off the Philippines.
