Alburnias has a slight upward moA-e today on the Exchange, sales being made at 3s 7d, at Avhich figure more shares could haA'e been placed. / Puru- Consolidated Avere dealt in at 2s 4d and Blinker's Hill at Is 3d. Thames stocks again had the best all round demand. Tararu Creeks Avere, hoAA-eyer, not so firmly held. In Standard stocks shipping and' coal had strong demand. Buyers of Union Steam advanced their offers to £9 Ss 6d. New Zealand Shipping were inquired for at 88s, and Devonport Ferry at 35s Gd. In coal shares Taupiri were Avanted at 22s and Hikurangi atßs lOd. :
