PARNELL MUSICAL SOCIETY.
A meeting of the Parnel! Musical Society was held in St. Mary's Hall last evening for the purpose of adopting rules and electing ollicers. The meeting was largely attended, and much enthusiasm was shown. The Rev. Canon Mac Murray presided. It was decided to form the Society on the basis of performing and honorary members, performing members to pay a subscription of Ss and honorary members 10s, each member to have two tickets for each concert. The election of president was deferred, and the Rev. Mac Murray, Father Kehoe, and Rev. Mitchell were elected vice-presidents ; Mr Leslie Hunt, conductor ; Mr E. W. G. Rathbone, secretary ; Mr H. Gilullan, tieasurer, and Mr W. 11. Holmes auditor. A management committee consisting of the olh'cers, Mcsdanies Ruck, Sealey, Kilgour, and Campbell, and Messrs Tewsley, A. Hunter, and Uprill, was elected. It was decided that Thursday night shall he the practice night, and that practices shall be held in St. Mary's Hall.
