A CRICKET SCANDAL.

CHARGE AGAINST STORER.

SYDNEY, March 22

During the final Test Match Bannerman, the Australian umpire, reported Storer for making an objectionable remark towards him. Storer said 'You are a cheat, and you know it.' Worral corroborated this, and also said he heard Storer say 'You are making1 the win assured for Australia.' The matter was referred to Stoddart's executive, who decided to report Storer to the Marylebone Club unless he satisfactorily apologised to Banner'man. Storer preferred to have the case remitted to the Marylebone Club than apologise.
