THAMES, this day.
Tn the Warden's Court to-day the following applications wore granted : — W. Fraser, Tararu Freeholds : Karaka Mines Company, permission to work with nine men for four months ; Mahara Royal, ditto six men for four months ; Monowai Goldmines, ditto twelve men for four months ; Malcolm Fleming, ditto Filly, Horseshoe, and Chester, two men for two months ; Original Great Barrier Company, six months' protection Great Barrier Proprietary and Premier claims ; Broken Hill Company, permission to work Broken Hill, Waiomo, with two men for four months.
A number of plaints for forfeiture, brought by the Receiver of Gold Revenue against applicants, for rent due were heard, and jndgment given for the amount claimed.
