To-day sales in Waihi Consols were recorded at 4Jd and sd, but when the market closed at noon there were sellers at the former figure. Other mining stocks were unaltered in value. Standard stocks remain firm. National Insurance were sold at 15s *>d. For South British 49s was offered. There were buyers of Auckland Gas (new) and Thames and Gisborne Gas. Union Oil, Northern Boot and Devonport Ferry were a'so ius'ced for.
