The. Premier, Sir Hugh Nelson, in the course of an interview, said he was still hopeful of Queensland joining in federation. The, sutmr growers now favoured tlje jnoyejucnt. Nothing, however, would be dqne until the Convention finally adopted a constitution, and it lias been accepted by two or three of the colonies.
