Since the recent Conference of the Employers' Federation of Engineers over 100 linns have joined the federation. Both the Employers' Federation and the Engineers' Society have mutually agreed to postpone the settlement of the five points in dispute fora week.

The Amalgamated Society ol Engineers has decided to take a third ballot upon the question of provisional arrangements with regard to the conditions of management of the workshops. The new Control of the London Underground Railway Company have ordered 32 electric locomotives from a New York linn.
