Advices were received in Auckland this morning that Dr. Orpen had been arrested in San Francisco. Detective Maddern leaves by the mail steamer Moriposa to-s morrow to bring him back to Auckland. i.

The Police Department have been advised by cablegram that Dr. Orpen has been arrested at San Francisco. Detective Maddern leaves Auckland for 'Frisco tomorrow to bring the accused back to New Zealand. He takes the warrant and extradition papers with him.
