Winds between east and north-east and north at places north of New Plymouth and Napier, and between north-west anil ■west and south-west from thence southward. Barometer rise generally in the North Island, but falling after twelve hours; rise in South Island. Sea moderate on both coasts. Tides good on western and moderate on East Coast.
