A special meeting of the Ptolemy G.M. Companywascalledforyesterdaymormngin the office of the legal manager to consider the advisability of abandoning the Company's claim. "The meeting lapsed for want of a quorum. AT A special meeting of the Ake Ake Ix.iu. Company called for yesterday morning to consider the financial position of the Company lasped for want of a quorum. Forfeited shares in the St. Patrick, Golden Link and Moanataiari Extended G.M. Companies were offered for sale by auction yesterday by Messrs G. W. Bmney and Sons, but there were no purchasers, and the shares were bought in on behalf of the companies.
