A fire broke out at six o'clock this mornin"- in a lumber room attached to the premises of Messrs Vvardell Bros., provision merchants, Willis-soreee, next the «' Evening Post," and spre.-d to tlie premises of E. Miiniz, picture, framcr, upstairs. Muniz lived on the planuses. His family had a narrow escape, having to get out by a top window, and be assisted from the verandah on to the street. A servant jnrl named Vause fell through the glass *' roof of the verandah, and sustacied-m----iuries which necessitated her removal to the hospital. Muniz is insured for 1200 in the South Britisli. He estimates Ins loss at £300. Wai-deli is mot insured, jukl lua loss is trifling. Tlie stock of W. H.
