The s.s. Flora left for East Coast and Southern ports on Saturday afternoon.
The s.s. Hauroto arrived from Wellington and Picton on Saturday evening, after a line passage. The schooner Huia arrived early this morning from the Kaipara. She left Kaipara at 7 p.m. on Thursday last and passed the North Cape at 8 p.m. on Friday. Down the coast light winds were experienced, the vessel arriving as above.
The barque Woosung arrived from Sydney and Newcastle on Saturday with a cargo "of shale and coal. She left Newcastle on the Bth insfc,, and had light easterly winds and smooth seas throughout the voyage. The North Cape was passed on the 23rd inst., the vessel arriving as above.
The schooner Marmion arrived from Noumea on Sunday morning. She sailed from Noumea on the 3rd inst. with a light, S.E. wind, passed Norfolk Island on the 6th, was in the latitude of King Island on 10th, with a light, south-easterly wind, thence strong easterly winds were experienced for eight days ;'from then till arrival in port, light south-east winds and calms prevailed.
