NELSON, this day,

Beautiful weather is now being experienced which promises to continue for the holidays, although rain is badly needed by farmers and gardeners. The principal attractions are the cricket match Marlborough v. Nelson on Christmas and Boxing Days ; the Kelson Tennis Association tournament on Monday and Tuesday ; the sports at Wakefield and Montere on Monday and the regatta New Year's Day.
