The s.s. "Upohi left for Wellington at 10 o'clock last night.

The schooner Gisborne was docked last evening for cleaning and repairs. The barque Royal Tar left Melbourne for Newcastle on Sunday, where she loads coal for this port.

The s.s. Flora left Gisborne at 10.30 a.m. to-day, and should arrive here between 11 and 12 o'clock to-morrow.

The Barque Casa Blanea, which left for London yesterday afternoon, returned .soon after leaving. Just as the tug-boat was leaving her the chain on the maintopsail van! broke, and as the spar was damaged Captain Cantley decided to return to port to have the repairs effected. The barque will leave to-morrow or on Friday.

The s.s. W astral ia arrives from Sydney on Monday next, leaving here on Tuesday for the South. She will run across from Wellington to Picton on New Year's Day. Through passengers for (Southern ports will be entitled to accompany the steamer on this trip. As the Westralia will pass through Lvttelton on Sunday, January 2nd, she will carry cargo shipped for that port on to Dnnedin, and km! it at Lyttelton on he;1 return to the Canterbury port.

The German warship Falke, which arrived in port- yesterday afternoon after a passage of six days frftni Apia, will remain here about a month, during which time she will lie docked and overhauled. Since her last visit to this port the Falke has been re-commis-'ioucd.
