MISCELLANEOUS.
Hylas has done good work at Ellerslie of late, and I predict that he will be one of the place-getters in the Foal Stakes on Boxing Day.
The Auckland Eacing Club has had a most comfortable dining-room constructed on the southern side of the main grandstand, between the two towers, for members only. It is 84ft in length and 22ft wide. The room is very light and airy, and no doubt it will be highly appreciated by those for whose benefit it has been constructed.
Maid of Honour was omitted from the list of published nominations for the Takapuna Steeplechase.
