A STEAMER WRECKED.
THE CREW SAVED,
LONDON, December 31
The steamer Millfield, owned by Mr J. H. Harrowing, of Whitby, was wrecked during a heavy gale in the Atlantic. Twenty-three of the crew were rescued in an exhausted condition by the Cunard liner Etruria when the Millfield was on the point of sinking.
