The Natives Affairs Committee reported to-day on Horowhenua Bill recommending that it he allowed to pass without amend - Messrs Monk, Heke, and Houston voted a-rainst the clause declaring Kemp to be only a trustee in respect of Horowhenua block 14. The Horowhenua Bill was carried by the Committee' by a party vote of six to four. It is certain to lead to a warm and protracted debate,'though it will be passed in , the House. , MINISTER FOR LANDS ILL. The Minister for Lands is confined ro his residence with influenza.
