•The following are the latest quotations : —5 to 1 against St. Paul and Epaulet, 6 to 1 Waiuku and Lord Rosslyn, 8 to 1 Daystar, 10 to 1 Haria and Skirmisher, 12 to 1 Cannonshot, 16 to 1 Sir Launcelot, Leda, Tenus, 40 to 1 Primula, The Brook, Strathbraan, and St. Conon.

The " Press " this morning says on beingapprised at Ashburton of the unsatisfactory gallop performed by Cannonshot on Saturday the owner decided to withdraw him from the New Zealand Cup.
