THAMES WARDEN'S COURT.

At the Warden's Court, Thames, on Tuesday the following business was transacted: —J. Smythe y. Royal Sovereign G.M. Company : Plaint for forfeiture of the Royal Sovereign special claim, Tararu. Evidence having been given by Mr Jordan and Mr Pearce, the Warden said he did not consider he would be justified in forfeiting the company's ground because the company had not put on men for a few weeks. Such a course would be a very severe one. He would adjourn the case to the 16th November in order to have some further evidence tendered which would warrant him in issuing a decree.

J. Smythe v. G. Robson: For forfeitures' of the Scottish Chief special claim, Tararu. Mr Jordan said he had received a semiprivate note from Mr Robson in which lie stated that he did not want the ground. The Warden declared the ground forfeited, and complainant first applicant, with costs 18s 6d against defendant. Receiver of Gold Revenue v. J. H. Barber: Plaint for the forfeiture of 'the Binnacle special claim, The Wires, for nonpayment or £50 rent due. Ground declared forfeited.

H. J. Curtis v. W. J. Pearce: Plaint.for dissolution of partnership in the Chicago licensed holding, Tararu, and for a share in the moneys received by defendant as purchase money for the sale of the claim in question. Warden deferred his decision to the 16th November.
