AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
Yesterday afternoon the Committee of the Auckland Racing Club held a meeting and made inquiries, at the request of the Colonial Secretary, in reference to the totalisator dividend made up on the Flying Handicap won by Porangi Potae at the recent Avondale Spring Meeting. Messrs L. Adams, C. F. Andrews, Hayr and Gellibrand (totalisator clerk) made statements to the Committee. We learn that a reply is to be drawn up, and forwarded to the Colonial Secretary on the matter.
