The anniversary services of the Northcote Presbyterian Church were held yesterday. The threatening aspect of the weather somewhat militated against the attendance in the morning, when the Rev. Scott-West was the preacher. At tbe evening service the church was filled to overflowing. Dr. Wolfenden delivered a fervid and eloquent discourse based in the text ''Men ought always to pray." The church was nicely decorated with flowers, etc., and the services throughout were most successful. For stylish and up-to-date millinery try Wilson, McCullagh and Co.'s. Hundreds of hats and bonnets to select from, all •marked at low prices.—(Advt.)
