Wellington, this day. A man named Eobert Bradley walked into a chemist shop yesterday, bought some spirits of salt, and dranlc the poison. He was taken to the Hospital where he died.
Ryder's house at Otaki was destroyed by fire this morning. Nothing was saved. The insurances are £200 on the dwelling in the Northern Company, and £200 on the furniture in the Commercial Union. Ryder estimates his loss at £600.
