FOE 24 HOURS FROM 9 A.M. THIS DAY. Wind between north and west and southwest at all places northward of East Cape, Taup'o, and New Plymouth, and between south-east and south and west elsewhere, changing to between north and west at all places southward of Napier and New Plymouth after 10 hours. Barometer farther rise at all places, but falling again at all places southward of Napier and New Plymouth after from 10 to 16 hours, also between Castlepoint and Kaikoura. Tides increase on western coast of North Island, moderate elsewhere. Strong northerly winds are to be expected at all places southward of Napier and New Plymouth after from 10 to 20 hours.
