NORTH STAR (KENNEDY'S BAY).

(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent)

COKOMANDKL, this day

Some nice stone is being obtained from a six-inch leader on this property. It is from near the surface, but shows gold freely throughout. About two pounds of stone, brought over by the manager, were on view yesterday at. the Secretary's oliice. The air-compressing machinery which is to be used in the development of this property is now being conveyed from the wharf to the mine, and will be immediately erected. These plants are now being extensively used here.
