The Mohmand people are quarrelling amongst themselves, and it is not expected they will offer anj- serious resistance to the British forces. They ore now caught between the forces under Colonel Blood and Brigadier General Ellis.

A force of 3000 Afridis and Mazzirs have taken up a position opposite Hud da, und is waiting- for reinforcements before ataeking Kurrani.
