A representative of the Tauranga-Rotoiti Tramway Company interviewed Mr Seddon regarding the bearing of the Tramway Act, 1894, and the Land Act, 1891, on the proposed tramway. It is understood the Premier expressed an opinion there is nothing in these Acts to prevent the Company carrying out their objects.
