CROPS IN IRELAND.
LONDON, September 4
The Government Inspector has furbished a report on the potato crops in the mountain districts of Ireland. He states that the potatoes are ruined and that the corn and hay crops are also rotting. He expects that this will be one of the worst winters since 1847.
