THE OPERA HOUSE
"DR. BILL" TO-NIGHT.
The Robert Inman Company produced " Held by The Enemy" for the.last time at the Opera House on Saturday night. Despite the boisterous weather the downstairs portion of the house was crowded, while the dress circle was fairly well patronised. The various parts 'in the drama were well played, the humour bein<>supplied by Mr T. E. Leonard, a war correspondent, and Miss Alice May, Mr Inman and Mr Harry Overton also shone in their respective parts. A feature was introduced by the orchestra between one of the acts, when Mr Fred. Gardner played a trombone solo, " The Lost Chord so" well that an encore was insisted on. He responded with "The Swanee River." It was a splendid performance and undoubtedly added much to the pleasure derived from the capital, performance of the Inman Company. It is to be hoped Mr Gardner will figure frequently in future programmes.
T ,.J?; niß-? t tlmt very funm* comedy "Dr. Bill will be produced. All who enjoy a hearty laugh should not miss it.
