A football match will bo played at Potter's Paddock on Saturday afternoon between beams representing the Auckland and Ponsonby Lodges of Druids. Both teams have been in active training for tho contest, and as many of tbo senior and sevoral of the representative players are included, the match should bo well worth witnessing*. The full teams will appear in to-morrow evening's paper.

Tho Spriug Flower Exhibition of tha Auckland Horticultural Society now promises bo ba very successful. A number of intending exhibitors have availed bheinselves of bhe extension of bitne for making entries, and tho nnmbers entered may be regarded as very satisfactory, Mrs C. H. Haines and Mias Street have kindly consented to act as judges in tablo decorations, bridal bouquets," hand baskets, and Messrs Bennett (of Bennebb and Green) and Allen (of Arch Hill) have been appointed judges of cub flowers and pob plants. Given fine weather there should be large attendances.
