This market continues active, higher prices being paid by Borne buyers to complete orders for special grades. Apart from this there has been a steady all reuad
demand. Some parcels of re-scraped have realised fancy prices where the quality was extra good, Easb Coast seems to have gob into its proper lino as compared with values of other grades. Cenerally ib has proportionately seemed eomewhab high. Supplies for tho month of August totalled 522 tons. As 50 Austrians arrived this week, and ib is stated more aro on the way, supplies should shortly increase. Quotations are as follows :— Poer ordinary £28 to £30 Fair ordinary ... £38 to £40 Good ordinary £45 to £48 Superior ordinary ... ... £55 up Easb Coast £65 to £68 Good Re-scraped , £85 to £95
