A parcel of nine tons of gonoral quartz and 2,0731b of picked stone when crushed yielded 1,1770z Bdwb of gold, value £3,000. This gives a neb profit of £2,100. The lasb crushing, of which particulars were received on Augusb lObh, yielded £3,500 from 25 ton 3of oro aud 1,6001b of picked stone. It is estimated that bhe profit from bwo crushings will be aboub £5,000.
