A MAGNIFICENT YIELD,
£3,000 FOR THE MONTH,
The richness of bho run of oro ab presenb being worked in bhe Royal Oak of Hauraki mine ab Coromandel is further illustrated by bhe return from the lasb month's crushing. A parcel of nine tons of gonoral quartz and 2,0731b of picked stone when crushed yielded 1,1770z Bdwb of gold, value £3,000. This gives a neb profit of £2,100. The lasb crushing, of which particulars were received on Augusb lObh, yielded £3,500 from 25 ton 3of oro aud 1,6001b of picked stone. It is estimated that bhe profit from bwo crushings will be aboub £5,000.
