ACCIDENTS.

Hamilton, this day. Mr W, A. P. Sutton, formerly Stock Inspector, while oub shooting hawks at Whatawhata yesterday, was unfortunate enough to havo his left hand shattered by the accidental discharge of a gun. On his arrival home in Hamilton Drs. Brewis and Roberta found it necessary to amputate at the forearm, and performed tho operation.
A youn« man named A. Given was sonb down to the Hospital from Mamaku yesterday, having had tho thumb of his right hand cus oil and othor lingers^ badly lucet-afced by a planing machine in Kusab's saw mill.
