REBELLION IN UGANDA.
THE REBELS DEFEATED.
Zanzibar, Angnet 29. King Mwanga secretly organised a rebellion of Waganda natives in the Budda district of the protectorate of Uganda, in British East Africa. Major Teruan, Deputy-CommissionerandConeul, organised a British force which defeated the rebel?. King Mwauga escaped into Cerman territory, where he surrendered, and is now debained by the German authorities. Zanzibar, Augaßt 30. The British authorities intend to proclaim Onwangab, the infant son of Mwanga, king of Uganda, with a regency.
