In the Chamber of Deputies General Pelloux, Minister of War, energetically protested againsb bhe cession of Adigrat to Abyssinia. He pointed oub bhab 3,000,000 lire had recenbly been expended on tho forts there.
The appointment of Signor Donfadene, a friend of the Marqais di Rudini, bhe Premier, to the Civilian Governorship of Eiythreahas been universally condemned throughout Italy.
