TIE COLONIAL PREMIERS
FETED IN LONDON.
MR CHAMBERLAIN'S DINNER.
London, July 1,
Mr Chamberlain gave a dinner in honour of the colonial Premiers and their wives, at which the Premiers met the foreign envoys.
Amongst the guests were the Duke and Duchess of York, Marquis and Marchioness ot Lansdowne, Marquis and Marchioness of Londonderry, Lord Salisbury, the Marquis aud Marchioness of Ripon, Earl and Countess Selborne, Lord and Lady Knutsford, Viscount and Viscountess Woseley, Lord and Lady Holbury and Mr Balfour. A reception followed. The decorations were of a lavish character, and music was supplied by a Hungarian band. The Earl of Onslow gave a garden party, al which many well-known colonists were present, including several of the Premiers and their wives. All the railway companies have granted free passes to the Colonial Premiers over their lines. \
