ADDITIONAL PARTICULARS.

London, Juno 29. The steamer Aden was wrecked on the Island of Socotra, in the Indian Ocean. She was on her homeward voyage from Hongkong when she struck a reef on the 9th. The captain and a number of the ship's officers, together with eight passengers, were swept overboard and drowned. A passing steamer managed to rescue nine passengers and 36 of the crew on the 26th instant, just when the wreck was commencing to break up. Twenty-five passengers, 20 officers, and 33 Lascars left the ship on the ioih. it is {eared they have perished.
