MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS.
National (Kuaotunu).— During the past week the low lovel haa been extended .mother seven feet, making the total distance driven 64 feet. The country being passed through is of a splendid class of blue sandstone.
Lor^a Doonk (Kennedy's Bay}.—Western crosscut : This drive has been carried on during the past week, and is still in quartz ot a rabher hard quality. During bhe week I havo been prospecting, and havo star!', d to open oub on a very promising lead tully six inches wide. The quartz looks really woll, and contains very favourable mineral.
Dover Castlk (Puriri).—The crosscut to intersect tho new or No. 5 reef lately discovered on the surface has been extended a distance of 27 feob from starting point. The country we are passing bhrough is of a mosb favourable description, and should the same continue bill the reef is meb with, I am in hopes of meeting wibh a good class of ore. A fow days should sco this reef at bond.
