MAY QUEEN EXTENDED.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.)
Thames, this day,
Further improvement is noticeable in the quality of the ore coming to hand from the winze now being sunk upon the Dolcaath reef. More gold was seen through the ore at the last breaking down than previously, indicating that as work approaches bhe crosscut, the lode has a tendency to improve in quality. The quartz body maintains a good appearance and measures 2ft in thickness.
