SUBURBAN POULTRY FANCIERS CLUB.
A large number abbendeel the Suburban Poultry Famciers' Club's Show daring yesterday and last night. Afternoon tea was dispensed each day by the wife of one of the vico-presidents. The show will be finally closed to-night. Last) nighb Mr A. Kidd presented the championjhip medals and cops to the winner^. In handing the President's handsome silver cup to Mr Thos. Phillips for owniug the champion bird of the ebow, Mr Kadd said it gave him pleasure to present it to one who had for year* past evinced so lively an interest in the Association as hagl the recipient. Mr Phillips was an ardenb fancier and fully deserved the honour. In the Houdan class an error occurred in tho official catalogue. It was abated bhab Mr F. Watkinson'e 20 months old cock bad been awarded the cup for the besb bird shown in the division, wheroaa ib should hove been placed opposite this gentleman's two-year-old hen of the Hemsworth eiruin. In black Orpingbons the imported pu'.leb shown by Mr J. Walker, in addition to a firab and special award, aleo takes a champion gold medal for the besb bird, male or female, in Orpington, Dorking, Polish, Silky and Houdan classes. Mr T. Bach was awarded the first, special, and cup and champion gold medal for the besb bird shown in Hamburgs and Red Cap classes. The Secretary desires those who have unsold tickets in the Arb Union to reburn tham to him at the Drill-shed this evening.
