Captain Edwin wired at 1.5 p.m. :— " Wind bebween north-west and west and louth ab all places. Baromobor : Further rise evory whore. Sea : Moderate on both coasts of both ißlands. Tides : Moderate generally. Frosb to-night at most places iouthwards of East Cape, Taupo and New Plymouth."
