Athehs, April 29. Feeling in Athens is how calmer. It is believed the Sultan is willing to agree to peace provided Greece will agree to reasonable conditions. The'leisurely movements of Edhem Pasha, the Turkish commander, give support to this idea. London, April 29. The Emperors of Austria and Russia consider the recall of the Greek forces under Colonel Vassos, now in Crete, must precede any mediation on the part of the Powers. The other Powers, however, are willing to intervene without any such stipulation. European newspapers consider that the rapproachement between Russia and Austria guarantees the general peace of Europe. French papers, however, are reticent.
