The Work and Help Society in connection wibh bhe Helping Hand Mieeion will hold its opening meebing in the V.M.C.A. Rooms to-morrow afbernoon. Sister Kennebh will meeb old members and other ladies willing bo assist. The firab annual picnic of the North Shore Sailing Club will be held at Kob&marama on Saturday next. A steamer will leave Victoria Wharf, Devonporb, at 8 p.m. Aquatic sports will be held, and there will be a concert in the evening. Yachts assemble ab 2 p.m. and sail in company with the steamer.
