Mr Skrine, the manager of the above Company on behalf of an Eoglish Syndicate, has submitted the following report for tho benefit of the .Auckland shareholders :—" The low level driven by contract ia now in 246 feeb. The country is favourable for gold, but hard, although of a good shooting nature, allowing good headway to be mode. Tho No. 4 level is in 400 feet, going north on the reef, which maintains its size, and is encased i» firstclass country. No quartz has been broken here during the week. A-smithy has been built at the low level, and preparations are being made to build an office, stororoom, otc, on the battery site."
