11 Missionary Scenes and Experiences in New Guinea "is the title of a lantern lecture to be given by Rev. F. B. Oldham en Monday evening at 7.30, in the Helping Hand Mission Hall. To-morrow afternoon the Ferry Company will run excursion steamers to Lake Takapuna and St. Helier'a Bay. A steamer will also run at short intervals to 1i.M.8. Katoomba from 1.45 p.m. The s.s. Vivid will leave on her uaual excursion trip to Riverhead ab 11 a.m. tomorrow. Mr Jameß • McGowan, M.H.R., v/ho returned from the South to - day, informs us that the Hon. A. J. Cadman and the Hon. Hall-Jones have postponed their proposed visit to Auckland owing bo the latter having boon called home on account of the illness of hia wife. On the return of Mr Hall-Jones he will accompany Mr Cadman to Auckland if time will permit before the Premier's return.
